Salman F Rahman stressed on the empowerment of women in the country. He said “Bangladesh has become a role model of women empowerment in the world and I feel very proud of this.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser said, “Whenever I give any presentation outside the country aimed at bringing investment in our country, I feel an immense sense of pride from within. In the women empowerment index of the World Economic Forum, Bangladesh is now holding the top position in South Asia. The country managed 48th position in the world, which is better than the US.”
Remembering Bangabandhu with utmost reverence, he told the students present there that the independence of Bangladesh came at a heavy price. “We achieved our independence after shedding blood, sweat and tears. You (the students) must keep that in mind,” he said.
He farther said, “Our PM Sheikh Hasina has now taken Bangladesh to a position where the country is considered to be a role model before the whole world.” He continued, “In this era of fourth industrial revolution, the government is going to make computer coding mandatory in schools across the country. I will personally take steps in this regard from our ‘Fazlur Rahman Foundation’ for the schools, which are doing well in Dohar-Nawabganj area.”
